KEF
KEF is named after Kent Engineering and Foundry where our story began. Our founder Raymond Cooke was propelled by a love of music and a refusal to compromise, and he leveraged technology at every turn to ensure KEF’s position at the cutting edge of audio.
A list of breakthroughs spanning more than half a century shores up that promise; a walk to match the talk. Patents and academic papers alike testify to decades of consistent progress, from the early use of synthetic materials to our Reference Series which determines industry standards to this day. Pro-ject audio
Pro-Ject was founded in 1991, during the onslaught of the compact disc and CD players, with the mission to offer the best analogue experience for reasonable prices. In a time where the digital audio media had been on the rise, and vinyl was declared as outdated and dead, Heinz Lichtenegger kept his belief in the simple but best way to enjoy music – turntables.

What exactly is ‘High-fidelity’? It is the reproduction of sound with high standards of clarity and detail – which sounds simple, but it often isn’t. KEF has always been obsessed with bringing you a high-fidelity sound experience, and over six decades we have led numerous technological breakthroughs in the creation of state-of-the-art audio products.As the first ‘LS’ speaker was the legendary LS3/5a, designed in collaboration with the BBC from the 1970s, to celebrate our 50th anniversary, KEF created the LS50 to bring the professional studio speaker into people’s homes. To reflect changes in both time and technology, we then introduced our first wireless speaker system, the LS50 Wireless, bringing high-fidelity sound into the digital age.

Our aim is to get as many people as possible into the wonderful hobby that is HiFi audio and to deliver a real stereo experience for the lowest cost possible. T1 EVO Phono SB
No corners cut. More sound.
The T1 EVO tonearm is a complete one-piece design, entirely made out of aluminium! Together with the low friction bearings, this guarantees absolute accuracy in use. The integrated headshell won‘t cause any additional vibrations either, and is a big improvement over other detachable, screwed-on or glued-on headshells! The belt driven motor is attached to a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm main bearing with a hardened stainless steel axle and brass bushing. Alongside the electronically controlled motor system, the T1 EVO is therefore able to ensure a smooth, anti-resonant rotational platform for the tonearm and cartridge to ride across.
