The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Jane Austen Limited Edition was created to celebrate one of the most famous authors of English literature. This edition comes to life in the Regency era, when noble estates were the scene of great parties organized to cultivate social relationships and create marriage alliances.

Design elements:

A fluted design adorns the elegant sand-grey resin case, along with Jane Austen's signature, and a gold-plated ring at one end adds the finishing touches.
The contrasting gray and blue top half references the type of regent's double-collared coat typically worn by gentlemen such as Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice.
The engraving of the Roman numerals XLIII on the ring of the top half of the pen is a reference to the chapter of the novel in which Elizabeth Bennet sees Mr. Darcy's mansion for the first time.
The title page of her novel Sense and Sensibility, published in 1811, simply announced that the work was written "by a lady". This statement of authorship adorns the top of the pen, along with the Montblanc logo.
The silhouette of the writing instrument itself resembles a wax seal.
The clip is equally unusual. Shaped like a braided string with a drawstring, it resembles that of a 'net', a type of bag used by women around the 1800s to carry their powder, mirror and indispensable handkerchief.
