Montblanc Patron Of Art Homage To Albert Limited Edition Fountain Pen

Every year since 1992, Montblanc has honored an influential art patron from antiquity to the 20th century with a limited edition writing instrument. Each limited edition Patron of Art highlights Montblanc's belief that art and culture are an essential part of any thriving society and can only flourish with the support of dedicated patrons. For the 30th (1992-2022) and final edition, Montblanc has created a double edition honoring the life and legacy of British monarch Albert and his wife Victoria.

The Montblanc Patron of Art Hommage to Victoria & Albert Limited Edition 4810 commemorates the royal couple's early years with a barrel in pearly white lacquer, a symbol of purity and youth, and a cone decorated with a traditional Victorian pattern, as well as an interlaced "V&A" monogram, in which the couple happily combined their initials.

The Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Albert Limited Edition 4810 celebrates the young Albert and comes with a pearly white lacquered barrel as well as a translucent burgundy lacquer cap with a special pattern underneath. The fittings are gold plated. The shape of the clip is a tribute to his wife's scepter and is decorated with a red synthetic stone. The top of the hat is inspired by the dome of the Crystal Palace and is decorated with the Montblanc emblem made of white precious resin. While the cap ring features the engraved quote "treu und fest", a special engraving adorns the top of the pen. As a tribute to his personal coat of arms, the handcrafted solid gold feather Au 750 bears a relief inspired by the coat of arms of Saxony.
