In 2022 Montblanc pays tribute to one of the most famous musicians of the 20th century, who is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music: Jimi Hendrix .

Crafted from precious resin, the off-white color of the cap and its engraved pattern are inspired by one of the guitar straps worn by Hendrix, while the black cylinder has a sleek pattern resembling a WAH pedal. The platinum-plated clip is angled to resemble the vibrato bar of an electric guitar. The Montblanc logo on the top of the cap is made of precious resin.

Another notable detail is the platinum-plated ring, which draws inspiration from a 1960s guitar cable. - it is engraved with the date of a famous Jimi Hendrix concert. Handcrafted in solid Au 585 gold with rhodium plating, the nib is engraved with a portrait of Jimi Hendrix.
